Mahut Center is a non-profit women's organization dedicated to improving the economic situation of low-income and marginalized women in the Israeli employment market and to fostering a just and secure employment market – one in which women enjoy their right to a respectable livelihood free of discrimination and harm. To achieve these goals, we use a two-pronged approach: Firstly, through education, vocational training, job placement services, and long-term personal support, we provide the necessary tools to women so that they can get and keep a job and advance in the employment market. Secondly, we seek to foster a fair and just employment market by conducting field research, awareness-raising activities, and partnerships for social change in the field of employment. Our research reports have been included in the syllabi of accredited university courses and used by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour in their research.
